In 2018 I went to Kenya with my dad to visit a place that is important to him and quickly became to me as well. St. Aloysius Gonzaga is a secondary school, started by an alum of my alma mater Brebeuf Jesuit, that provides a rigorous education to students whose lives have been affected by HIV/AIDS. These curious students take their schooling seriously and work hard to give back to their community in Nairobi.
As we prepare to safely gather around our own tables this Thanksgiving, please join me in donating $30, or whatever you can, to feed a St. Al’s family for 30 days. Finding resources for the students is important more than ever amid the pandemic, and they will be grateful for your generosity.
