On World AIDS Day, please join me in donating to the School of Hope Foundation which supports St. Aloysius Gonzaga secondary school in Nairobi, Kenya. St. Al's provides a free, high-quality education to motivated students from Kibera (the largest slum in Africa) whose lives have been impacted by HIV/AIDS.
One major initiative that the School of Hope Foundation is currently working on is the construction of dormitories so that St. Al’s students can live near the school, enhancing their education by providing three meals a day and improved study conditions, and eliminating the dangers of commuting to/from school in Kibera. Construction on the dorm project is set to commence shortly, but there remains a significant funding need for the project to reach completion that we can help solve.
