STEM Expansion for St. Al's!
School of Hope seeks to raise $55,000 before the end of the year for textbooks in our new STEM subjects and equipment for classrooms and labs so that our new 10th graders have the tools they need to succeed.
Beginning in January 2026, under Kenya's new education system, St. Al's will become a senior secondary school, serving 10th-12th graders. This a transition to a more experiential learning, critical thinking focus in schools. St. Al's will offer two educational pathways: Social Sciences and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). In order to expand our STEM curriculum, we are constructing a small building on campus to house three laboratories for engineering and construction technology, home sciences, and electrical technology. Construction began last week on the building thanks to a generous gift from the Dune Road Foundation.
